About This Spot

Restoran Good Taste at Jalil Link offers a quietly familiar refuge amid the quiet hum of Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Jalil neighborhood. Step inside its modest, compact space and you’ll find yourself enveloped in an atmosphere that’s unhurried yet efficient, the kind where you can witness the rhythm of a local favorite winding through lunch and dinner hours.

The pace here matches the nature of its menu — comfortably approachable and thoughtfully prepared. The air carries the subtle aroma of slow-cooked broths and grilled roast meats, blending with the soft murmur of conversation and the occasional clatter of bowls and chopsticks. It’s a spot where the food feels less like a show and more like an invitation to share a moment of quiet satisfaction.

What truly defines the experience at Good Taste is how the familiar dishes embrace you with a sense of homegrown warmth. The noodles arrive with a lively texture that speaks to careful craftsmanship — springy, never soggy — while the dark sauces reveal layers of depth without overwhelming. Every plate seems to balance richness with restraint, from the delicate wantan floating beside hand-rolled noodles to the humble yet soulful claypot rice and signature curry mee that comforts as much as it fills.

Even the smaller details contribute to the place’s quiet charm. Thin, charcoal-grilled breads and lightly sweetened kaya toast appear almost unexpectedly, creating brief moments of delight between richer bites. Attentive service moves seamlessly through the tight seating arrangements, quietly clearing finished plates and refilling water with a kindness that never feels rushed or impersonal.

Good Taste doesn’t rush you — but it rewards those who take their time to savor each bowl and sip of soup. It’s a place that serves more than food; it offers a shared routine, a steady, approachable excellence found in the consistent layers of flavor and subtle care in every dish. For those who know noodle culture, or are just discovering it, this restaurant quietly marks its place as a sincere neighborhood touchstone in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

I recently visited Good Taste Restaurant in Bukit Jalil and had a genuinely pleasant dining experience. The food was flavorful, well-prepared, and served fresh. Portion sizes were generous and offered very good value for money. I especially appreciated how consistent the taste was across different dishes. The service team was friendly, efficient, and attentive without being intrusive. Despite the crowd, the food arrived promptly and the staff maintained a welcoming attitude throughout our visit. The restaurant was also clean and comfortable, making it a relaxing place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Overall, Good Taste Restaurant in Bukit Jalil is a reliable choice if you are looking for tasty food, reasonable pricing, and good service. I would be happy to return and definitely recommend it to others.

Food is nice. I love the bread too because it’s thin. Down side is a little bit too salty. Overall still nice. The pork noodle and wantan mee also delicious. Worth to have it here.

Food are quite delicious. Chili pan mee noodles can cook longer so that can be softer. The shop quite compact and narrow space. Once finish your food, waitress will clean your plates immediately. Very rush

Wah, this place really knows how to do Wantan Mee properly. The noodles are super QQ, totally springy and not soggy at all. The dark sauce is "kau" (thick) and flavorful—you can really taste the aroma. The Char Siu is nice and fatty, not the dry red kind you get at other places. Even the soup is sweet and tasty. Comfort food at its best. 10/10 will eat again!

Toast was excellent like it used to. Appreciate they have white sauce for wantan me, and it’s delicious and fragrant with scallion oil. The chicken thigh roll on top was well seasoned and tender

This is my first time seeing a restaurant provide a baby set with scissors! Such a thoughtful touch! It really makes it easier for parents to prepare food for their kids. The food is always nice and never disappoints.
